9 Lives and then some

I have two orange and white tabby kittens--littermate brothers--Zack & Dack. They are 9 months old. I have had them since they were about 9-10 weeks old. It has been fun to watch them grow and to watch their kitten antics. But trying to curtail their antics that are not desirable such as climbing curtains, pulling down curtains, or knocking things off shelves is a challenge. (Although watching one throw himself like a cannonball into a window was a little scary!) I use words such as "No!, Down!, Off!" and a water squirt bottle. Memory retention is short. But overall they are doing better at 9 months then they did at 4 months. I'm looking forward to when they are 2 years old!

So Saturday I went to change a light bulb. Pulled out the ladder and set it up. Went to get the light bulb and came back to Zack inspecting the light fixture. He didn't take kindly to being taken off the ladder. Although I did take advantage of the photo opportunity. Captions that come to mind are "How many cats does it take to change a light bulb?" or "Flunked Ladder Safety 101!".

I think Zack & Dack's nine lives have exponents. :)
