Cheap Entertainment?

Hmmm. Something is very interesting. What is it?
Well, when you have two 10-month old kittens and you don't hear or see them for about 30 minutes, you need to check on them. I found them in the back room on their cat tree watching the light fixture intently. They ignored me. They were very intent. So I took some pictures. Then I decided I'd better check on what was captivating them.
They have wonderful eyesight. A ladybug was walking in circles around the light fixture. Their eyes followed intently and Dack (on top) periodically reached his paws up to see if he could touch the fixture. (I'm sure he was wishing I'd put the ladder up!) I decided to leave them to the observation of the ladybug and go back to ironing some quilt block units.
While sitting there ironing about 10 minutes later, two crazed cats come racing into the room and over and around me. Finally Zack stopped in front of me on the ironing board. His eyes roamed the ceiling and the wall behind me. Ahhhh....the ladybug must have flown into the living room.
The ladybug had a sense of humor. She decided to land on Zack's nose. All of the sudden, Zack noticed something was on his nose and gave a kind of cross-eyed look at it. Whap! He hit himself in the nose with his paw. He looked all over but could not find the ladybug. I imagine she flew off thinking she had the last laugh. I was laughing hilariously.
It's the simple things in life...a ladybug having fun with two kitties.
