I have only lived in Florida for a few years and coming from the midwest, I am constantly seeing new things. I love living in the sunny warm climate and being near the water. I recently took a trip to Melbourne and stopped at the beach for about 30 minutes before driving home. I love to watch waves, listen to the roar of the ocean, and watch the birds. I saw a flock of birds in a "V" formation flying towards me. I thought it strange that I would be seeing geese migrating this time of year (in the midwest a "V" formation is geese or ducks). As they flew overhead, I realized
that they were pelicans. Who knew? I had only see them diving for fish off of piers. I learned something new....again. :)
