Once I again I pause to enjoy the amusement provided by Zack & Dack.
Whereas their predecessors Hack & Mack preferred scratching boxes on the floor, Zack & Dack showed no interest in the scratching boxes. They prefer to stand up and stretch and scratch. To prevent items from being ruined, I decided I better purchase a scratching post. Found a sale on one that had a platform on top to rest on.
Both Zack & Dack have grown. The platform is really for only one large cat to rest comfortably. But they are littermate brothers and often like to sleep cuddled up.
It is possible for two large cats to lie together on the platform...but not sure if it's comfortable.
