How to make a Sudoku quilt:- Find a Sudoku puzzle solution
- Select 9 fabrics; assign each fabric a number (1-9)
- Cut into 1-inch squares.
- Following puzzle solution, lay out one 9-square grid and sew it.
- Attach a label to each grid that identifies it's location in the puzzle and what is the top of the grid.
- Use 1/2-inch wide strips for sashing.
- Use 1-inch wide strips for border.
- Use envelope method for backing/binding, adding hanging loop if desired.
- Stitch 1/8-inch from edge.
