Debbie Macomber - from her 12/26/11 Newsletter
Beth Moore - Living Proof Live in Lincoln, Nebraska - 2011
So when challenged by Debbie Macomber in her December, 2011, newsletter, I decided to accept the challenge of selecting a word for 2012. I pondered and pondered what word I wanted to focus on and study in 2012.
I decided to choose a word that was of God’s character. The word that came to mind and seemed to be THE word was: Goodness. “Goodness - My Word for 2012.”
"For almost twenty years now I've chosen a word to focus on for the year. My word for 2012 came to me in October: magnify. I find it far too easy to think about problems and concerns, so I decided that instead of concentrating on those, I would turn my thoughts to God instead. I want to use the year 2012 to magnify the Lord in my life. "

“Better” was the word that Beth used as the subject of the Bible study she led at Living Proof Live.I have considered many words to use as a word study in the Bible. Some of the words considered were: shepherd, sheep, rock, refuge, strength, faith, mercy, compassion, covenant, promise, and love.
