Crochet: Sitting Still and Really Bored!

There is one blessing from Covid. I sat still long enough. In the fall of 2020, I tested positive for Covid. I was out of commission for about 4 weeks and didn't have the energy for a few more weeks after. TV was boring, I couldn't concentrate to read books, so I started watching YouTube. A video popped up instructing how to crochet an afghan. Hmmm. YouTube Video: Crochet Rectangle Granny Afghan | BEGINNER | The Crochet Crowd I watched intently. And again. Hmmm. This seems possible. Maybe I can do this. Hmmmm. I found some yarn and a hook (those previous attempts!). If I could do a sample, even with different yarn and hook, maybe I could do this! An hour later, I had an order placed with Michaels for the Caron's Sprinkle Cake yarn and the hook. I anxiously awaited that delivery! I think there was doubt by my husband about this new project. However, this new project served two purposes....
